PAC12 Antenna

The second antenna for my primary QTH is the PAC-12 portable vertical. This antenna is a small and stealth portable vertical antenna that can be assembled and dissassembled in few minutes. This antenna is supplied as a kit and it is rather inexpensive.

Following pictures show the assembly of my PAC-12 vertical antenna including a homebrew multiband coil. The antenna is supported by a 'C' clamp taken from a lamp support and fixed to the balcony.

I get the best performances in 20 and 30 meters. In 40 meters the performances are not as good (as expected) and it is a bit difficult to tune probably because the balcony setup. I have to use the transceiver internal tuner to reduce the SWR.
